Mona Koyamba

Mona Koyamba is a journalist, hip-hop dancer, member of the Women Sport Journalist Association and the Bissai collective. She is the founder of the blog (soon to be media) Looking for Culture, which dives into subjects related to sport, arts, society and pop culture, through a non-Eurocentric lens. Through her multidisciplinary work, she likes to study and educate people about themes such as cultural heritage, transmission, representation, antiracism, gender equality, always with a decolonial and intersectional approach. In 2026, she signed an online manifesto against the misogynoir in the media and cultural sectors, lead by the journalists/ content creators Yasmine Mady, Pookie, Safya Fierce and Christelle Murhula.
