Darna

In Arabic, "Darna" means "our home." We are a film project bringing together young creatives from the SWANA (Southwest Asia and North Africa) diaspora, for whom cinema is a tool for rewriting and reclaiming narrative spaces. Darna was born out of the need to recentralize these voices, free from external and stereotypical representations. In a landscape still dominated by Western perspectives, Darna introduces new forms of artistic expression, offering a cinematic vision that deconstructs conventional narratives.
